Workshops ( tell me your ideas for class)

Look at my resume page and the page below to get an idea of the subjects I teach.

The oldest Medicine system in the world exists in Kerela, South India. It asks it's practitioners to be an expert in everything - because it is all connected. Dr. Raj, from Kerela (www.isvin.com) is an Orthopedic surgeon. His family has been setting bones for 600 years! The family of the herbalist at his facility has been doing that for 900 years! Shogo Mochizuki, my primary Instructor, has over 10,000 hours of training. (www.japanesemassage.com) I wasn't born into Bodywork, but I have tried to learn as much as possible. For instance, If someone says they want their feet worked on, I have 1100 hours in Reflexology as a resource. It's amazing that is it is all connected. I enjoy teaching and my techniques have stood the test of time. I have been training people in "hands on" subjects since 1978. I start on time, and I am prepared to teach. I usually have more material than the time allotted. I can see what the students are learning and I will adjust my classes so that the time spent with me is valuable. My students always participate and have fun.

  • Techniques that work, pain-free, and are efficient to use.
  • Fascia, Muscles, & Meridians or Energy lines are not only discussed but are used by the Bodyworker on themselves in class!
  • Exercises & ideas for the Bodyworker
  • Business ideas that work ( I've tried everything)

CLASS DESCRIPTION MORE...
Japanese Massage Learn a pain-free ancient system of bodywork that has guaranteed results. Tsubo points and body mechanics will be taught.
Japanese Facial Massage Ancient techniques to release tension in the face.  Energy points also taught to energize the body.
Japanese Foot Reflexology Many problems start at the foot.  An in depth look at the foot, beginning with many foot loosening techniques to warm the feet then relax the foot.
Barefoot Deepwork Asian Therapy Learn to use your feet to give a massage.  Most people in Asia use their feet.  We will not walk on clients' backs.  It's fun to learn to use your feet as another pair of hands. I'm familiar with 4 different styles.
PNF Stretching These techniques will allow the muscles to work together.  Muscle flexibility and strength will insure balance.  Learn these techniques and you will understand how muscles work.
Eastern Answers to Common Problems Students bring a problem to class and I'll show you how the Asian Systems look at the problem.  We will also look at the common problems we see.
Therapists Body Mechanics and Hand Maintenance 33% of the massage therapist "burn out" every year.  Find out why people get hurt.  My teacher's grandmother gave a massage the day before she died at 86!  What was the secret to her longevity in this field?
Shiatsu Anma Asian Massage to include pressure points.  If you do Swedish Massage, then add Shiatsu Anma to your session.  Wow!  This is the Mother of all Asian medicine.
Neck and Shoulders or Shoulders and Arms Asian techniques to free up this area.  Find out why there are so many problems in this area.
Hips and Spine or Hips and Feet The Asian view of the hips tells us this area is a busy place!  Learn to make the hips and spine functional and pain-free.
Chair Massage Swedish Massage is not used in Chair Massage.  Learn techniques to relax the body.  The therapist will be taught proper Body Mechanics. Meridians & Acupressure points are stressed in class.
Facial Massage Techniques used to massage the face, neck and shoulders.  Pressure points (Tsubo) will be discussed.
Deep Tissue Many of these techniques are thousands of years old.  Come see what works.  It is very interesting.  Pain-Free techniques to free up the muscles and fascia.  An overview of Asian Bodywork.  Pressure Points (Tsubo) and Meridians will be used.
Relaxation Massage My favorite techniques used to compliment those therapists that practice Swedish Massage.  Have your clients telling their friends about you after this class!  Pressure Points and Meridian, Asian techniques to include the abdominal area will be used.  These techniques will keep your client coming back.
